|
|
|
| The 4 port USB sharing switch operates in the same manner as
the 2 port. By connecting a USB cable Type "A" connector to the Device port and a
USB cable to each of the four USB PC ports Type "B" ports from the PC to the switch. |
Seen here are the four USB connecting ports for the PC's. These
ports are a Type "B" configuration. LED indicators
let you know which PC is using the switch first. |
Once all USB cables are connected, the sharing switch is ready
to be utilized with the chosen USB device. You may be prompted
to install software drivers for the device. Just install
the drivers with the included software disk. |
USB Share Switch Testimonial
After
using the 4 Port USB Share Switch between my laptop and
desktops I found it to be a very versital tool. The versatility
comes into play when beginning to share the USB device
between as many as 4 PC's or laptops without the cable
switching that is normally needed. The
4 port usb share
switch allows me the conveinence of keeping my printer
or other usb device connected to all machines, ready for
use when I need it. The switch is attractive and compact
and
well
suited
for
the needs of the small business or home user when more
than one PC is needed and I recommend the USB 4 port share
switch
for just that reason.
